What We Do
Black Kids in Action (BKIA) has supported over 782 children since 2018 through programs that bring learning, creativity, and community together. Our work is built on real connections, meaningful experiences, and a deep understanding of what Black children need to thrive.

How We Make It Happen
We use a mix of programs that spark curiosity, build skills, and create lasting memories:
Black History Month Production

Through performances and storytelling, Black children explore their identity, express their thoughts, and connect with their culture.
Soccer Tournaments & Bike Rides

We combine fun with friendship, giving youths the chance to bond, learn teamwork, and build confidence.
Math Competitions

We challenge bright minds to push their limits, rewarding hard work with exciting prizes like scholarships.
Mentorship & Education

We connect youths with mentors who guide them through school, career choices, and personal growth.
Theatrical Summer Camp
Our summer camp blends creativity with life skills, helping kids build confidence while exploring theatre arts.
Career Initiative Sessions

We prepare children for their future by giving them practical skills, career guidance, and the motivation to pursue their goals.
Why It Matters

Every child wants to feel seen. Every child wants to know they belong.

At BKIA, we create moments where children feel proud of their ideas, confident in their choices, and excited about their future.

Because when children believe in themselves, they do great things. And that’s what we’re here for.
