Why Your Support Matters
Black Kids in Action (BKIA) was founded in 2018 with a simple but powerful goal: To create a safe space where Black children could proudly embrace who they are and where they come.
We serve Black youth, students and families in Windsor, Essex and surrounding areas, helping them reconnect to their heritage, build confidence, succeed academically and creatively, and prepare for the future.
Your donation helps us deliver programs such as:
Program Sponsorship: Fund key initiatives such as the CSC Micro Grant, Theatrical Summer Camp, Mathematics Competition, or Soccer Tournament, and community events that promote education, culture and connection.
Event Sponsorship: Dance, drama & dialogue productions during Black History Month, giving youth a platform to express themselves
Youth Support: Help us provide scholarships, resources, and mentorship opportunities for Black youth. Safe spaces to belong, heal from discrimination, and build resilient identity rooted in Black history and heritage.
