About the event
Chains to Changes is Black Kids in Action’s 7th annual Black History Month stage production a powerful original performance that journeys through the historical, emotional, and cultural transitions from oppression to empowerment. Through spoken word, drama, music, and movement, this youth-led production highlights resilience, celebrates Black excellence, and inspires hope for the future. Featuring a cast of 39 talented young performers, the show centers youth voices as they reinterpret history and envision a world shaped by unity, courage, and transformation.
This year’s production also includes a special community give-back showcase and performances for local schools, making it both an artistic celebration and an educational experience during Black History Month.
